Product Application of N-[3-(Trimethoxysilyl)propyl]ethylenediamine CAS#1760-24-3
Its core function is to couple organic polymers with inorganic substrates via robust chemical bonding, which significantly boosts the polymers’ physical and mechanical strength, electrical insulation, water resistance and anti-aging capability. Applicable polymer systems cover thermosetting resins (epoxy, phenolic, polyurethane, melamine, nitrile phenolic resins), thermoplastic hot-melt resins (polystyrene, polyvinyl chloride, polyamides), as well as elastomers including polysulfide rubber and polyurethane rubber.
This silane coupling agent remarkably upgrades the comprehensive performance of resin laminates fabricated from epoxy, phenolic, melamine and furan resins. It also delivers excellent modification effects on polypropylene, polyethylene, polyacrylate, silicone, polyamide, polycarbonate and polyacrylonitrile.
