Products Description of Glycolic Acid CAS#79-14-1
As an essential chemical raw material and key organic synthetic intermediate, glycolic acid is widely adopted in organic synthesis, cleaning agents, electroplating, textiles, leather production and sterilization. Studies in recent years verify that glycolic acid polymers are biodegradable. They solve the degradation deficiency of traditional plastics and can be massively deployed in medical, packaging and other related fields.

Product Application of Glycolic Acid CAS#79-14-1
Glycolic acid is an indispensable chemical raw material applied to produce ethylene glycol, menthyl glycolate and quinine glycolate. It can also be formulated into tanning agents, hair dyes, leather and fiber dyes, binders, metal chelants, crude oil demulsifiers, electroplating additives, aluminum etching liquids, cross-linking agents for cellulose textiles and stainless steel electropolishing reagents. Apart from these uses, it can clean and disinfect food processing workshops and livestock breeding areas, prevent boiler scale buildup, treat the surface of copper and other metals, and be incorporated into various skincare cosmetic products.
