Product Description of Diammonium Phosphate CAS#7783-28-0
Diammonium phosphate (DAP), also known as diammonium hydrogen phosphate, is a high-concentration compound fertilizer that supplies both nitrogen (18%) and phosphorus (48% P₂O₅). It is highly water-soluble, allowing rapid nutrient availability, and is suitable for a wide range of crops and soil types. DAP can be applied as either a base fertilizer or topdressing, with deep placement recommended for optimal performance.
Its saturated solution is mildly alkaline (pH 8), making it especially suitable for acidic soils. By reducing phosphorus fixation by iron and aluminum, DAP improves phosphorus availability and enhances nutrient uptake by crops.
